Learn to Row sessions will be held at Boyd Lake on June 7 & 8. Friday evening from 6-8 pm we will cover the basics of rowing; terminology, safety, and erging (rowing machine). On Saturday morning we have a coach, Pat McKeon (see bio below), who will review, go deeper into techniques, take the boats to the lake, get everyone out on the water, clean and rack the boats. If you are considering joining the club at that time, there will be an optional rowing experience on Sunday June 9 from 6-8 am. Learn to Row cost is $125; membership will be available to graduates for $250. A state park pass is required and costs $9/ day or $80/ year. You will be required to sign swimming, basic fitness and safety waivers. Please use the Contact Us form on the website to sign up.
